Screens are not a sideline here. Most companies that will screen your porch in North Georgia are deck builders or remodelers who do it as one line item among twenty. Screen America has done screens, enclosures and screen repair — and very little else — since 1997. Every panel is measured and built for the opening it goes into, at your home or business, to your specifications.

What We Build and Repair

Screen Porch Installation

New screened porches built to your house, and existing porches, decks and patios closed in. Custom framing, custom mesh, no kit sizes.

Patio & Porch Enclosures

Screen or vinyl panel enclosures on an extruded aluminum frame. Open the panels in spring and fall, close them when the weather turns. Also called a porch enclosure, three-season room or Florida room.

Custom Decks with Screen Porches

Deck and porch designed together, so the structure carries the enclosure properly instead of having one bolted onto the other later.

Sunroom Additions

A bright, enclosed room that extends the house rather than sitting beside it, with glazing chosen for the North Georgia climate.

Screen Repair & Rescreening

Torn porch panels, punctured screen, bent frames, doors that no longer close, and window screens by the houseful. Repair work most deck builders and remodelers won't take on.

Window Screens

Rescreening, new screens built to your openings, and solar screen that cuts heat on the sun side. Bring them to us or we collect them.

Screens, Frames and Panel Options

What an enclosure is made of decides how it ages. These are the materials we work in, and the choices you will be asked to make during the estimate.

Window Screens

Double hung and single hung
Replacement screens for the windows you already have, measured on site so they sit square in the frame.

Porch Panel Enclosures

Inside and outside mount
Removable screen panels fitted between porch posts. Inside mount tucks the panel into the opening; outside mount runs it across the face of the framing.

Extruded Aluminum Enclosures

Arches, pools, brick rooms, storm doors, screen doors and more
Extruded aluminum framing carries its own load, which is what makes arched openings, pool enclosures and full brick-room screening possible.

Screen Mesh Options

UltraVue, BetterVue, standard charcoal mesh
Standard charcoal mesh is the workhorse. BetterVue and UltraVue use a finer weave that you see through more clearly — worth it where the view is the point.

Aluminum Frame Colors

White, beige, silver, almond, sandstone, black, bronze
Frame color is matched to the trim rather than the siding in most cases, which is what makes an enclosure read as part of the house.

How a Project Works

  • Free assessment. We come out, look at the actual opening, and tell you what it will take. No obligation, and no charge for the visit.
  • Measure and design. Openings get measured individually — porch framing is rarely square, and panels cut to a nominal size never fit properly.
  • Build and install. Frames are fabricated to those measurements and installed by the same people who quoted the job.
  • Walkthrough. We go over the finished work with you, adjust door closers and latches, and make sure every panel sits the way it should.

Why a Screen Specialist Rather Than a General Contractor

A remodeler screens a porch a few times a year. We do it every week, which shows up in the details that decide whether an enclosure still looks right in ten years: how the frame meets an out-of-square post, whether the mesh is tensioned evenly, whether a door was hung so it still closes after a wet summer.

It also shows up in the work nobody else wants. Repair and rescreening are small jobs with tight margins, so general contractors decline them. For us they are core work, and they are the reason a lot of customers call the first time.
