We Come to You From Ball Ground
Worth saying plainly, because it is the reasonable question: Marietta is the furthest of the towns we work in regularly, and we are based up in Ball Ground. That is a normal drive for us rather than an exception — we routinely travel an hour and a half to two hours for a project, and further than that for larger jobs.
What it does mean is that we would rather do fewer, longer visits than a string of short ones. Send a couple of photos before the first visit and there is a good chance we can tell you roughly what the job involves before anyone drives anywhere.
What Marietta Houses Usually Need
The housing stock here is older and more mixed than the newer subdivisions further north, and that changes the work. A brick ranch with a concrete patio is a different job from a two-storey colonial with a raised timber deck, and both are different again from a mid-century house where nothing is quite square any more.
Screening an existing deck is the most common request, and the part that decides whether it looks right is how the new framing meets the old structure. On an older deck that usually means checking what is underneath first. It is a short conversation at the assessment and a much longer one afterwards if nobody has it.
Mesh and Frame Colors
On a tighter lot, which describes a lot of Marietta, the mesh choice is really a privacy choice: a charcoal shade reads much darker from the street while leaving the view out largely intact. Two Visits, Not Six
Because of the drive, we run these jobs on as few visits as we can. In practice that is one to measure and one to install, with the six or seven days of shop assembly in between, inside the usual two to three weeks from first contact to finished.
The assessment costs nothing and commits you to nothing. And if something moves after we are gone — a post settles, a door drops out of square — the distance is our problem, not yours. We come back. The labor is ours to stand behind.
Repairs and Rescreens
We fix porches we did not build. For a repair this far from Ball Ground, a photo is worth far more than a site visit: a close-up of the tear, the bent frame or the door that will not latch is usually enough to price the work and book a single trip to do it.
