Rescreened porch panels on a North Georgia home, by Screen America

Send a Photo. We Can Usually Price It Without Coming Out.

Most screen repairs do not need a site visit to quote. Take a picture of the damage on your phone, send it through the contact form, and we can normally tell you what it needs and what it costs. That is how most of this work reaches us.

If it does need looking at, that visit is free and there is no obligation at the end of it.

What Usually Goes Wrong

  • Torn or punctured mesh. A limb comes down, a dog goes through a lower panel, someone leans a ladder on it.
  • Bent or pulled frames. Usually roll-formed sheet rather than extruded aluminum, which bends out of true and then will not sit square again.
  • Doors that no longer close. Hinges drop, closers give up, the latch stops meeting the strike.
  • Whole-porch rescreens. When every panel is the same age and they all start going at once, replacing the lot is cheaper per opening than patching them one at a time.

Why Screens Need Repairing At All

Worth being straight about, because it is the honest answer to a question people are often too polite to ask. Screen carries no manufacturer warranty, and once it is installed it is essentially a filter — the only thing that damages it is something hitting it from outside. That is not a defect. It is what screen is.

Which is why repair is a large part of what we do rather than an embarrassment, and why we will happily work on a porch we did not build.

Porches We Did Not Build

Yes. Most repair calls are on somebody else's work, and that is fine — we would rather fix it than have you live with it. It is also the work most deck builders and remodelers will not take on, because screen is a small part of a big job for them and the whole job for us.

Windows, Doors and Porches

Window screens, screen doors, porch panels and enclosure panels. Fiberglass mesh in a range of shades, and aluminum frames in white, beige, silver, almond, sandstone, black and bronze, so a repaired panel matches the ones either side of it rather than announcing itself.
